Featuring both the Foamposite One “Sharpie” and the Nike Air Penny 6, this pack is one of the biggest releases of the summer, they release on Independence Day.This “Sharpie” version of the Nike Air Foamposite One wasn’t actually created by Nike. Instead, Penny wore in 1997 that he used a black marker to color in the ridges of the Foamposite because they didn’t have enough black to meet league uniform standards.The other half of the pack contains Penny’s brand-new signature, the Air Penny 6,This limited edition Penny Pack will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers on Saturday, July 4. The Foamposite One comes in the infamous 'Sharpie' version, originally a PE of the OG royal blue colorway that had to be blacked out in some places to fit in with the NBA's strict uniform policy of the time. The insoles of the Sharpied Foamposite read ’41 points’ and ’42 points’ respectively in honor of Penny’s incredible Game 3 and Game 4 performances that allowed the Magic to even up the series with the Miami Heat in Round 1 of the 1997 NBA Playoffs.
The pack comes also includes a special Orlando colorway of the latest Pennies, the Nike Penny 6, featuring modern-day technology like a Megafuse constructed upper and Dynamic Flywire support. Second to release post-retirement for Hardaway’s main signature line. The shoe looks similar to the Penny 1, particularly with the similar mid-foot wing.
