Ewing 33 Hi Gas Mask and Full Body Armor 4 years ago Freehand Profit and I planned on doing a Ewing 33 Hi Gas mask. I wanted to do something out of the norm since at the time most of his mask were from Nikes and Jordans. The red Ewing 33 Hi became of a favorite of mine when it retroed because of the color and the bulkiness. I thought it would make a great mask! So Freehand hooked it up and even added a shoulder piece to it!  (Qoute below from Freehand Profit before doing the full body armor) "The Ewing 33 Hi “Red Suede” Gas Mask is the 84th sneaker gas mask that I’ve created but the very first one to feature an accompanying shoulder harness – a step towards the full body sneaker armor I have plans for. Figgs had sacrificed 2 pairs of his beloved “Red Suede” 33s to my Chopping Block – normally 2 pairs can mean more creative control and a more interesting mask simply because I have more material to work with but the Ewings were plentiful in materials and I found myself with a surplus of materials and a chance to do something I’ve always wanted to do. And being that Figgs and I are 8&9 family, it also gave me a chance to include an 8&9 woven label into the shoulder piece " I told Freehand I wanted to take it a bit further and make some gloves made out of the sneakers as well. He loved the idea and said "I'm gonna make you a whole dam suit of armor!" Lol. I agreed and reached out to Ewing Athletics to see what they could do to help. They've been down with this project ever since and have supplied us with enough pairs to make it happen! The rest is history.
