by Jason Peiso

The Nike Air Jordan 4 OG ’89 “White Cement” is set to return in 2016.  The shoe was originally released back in 1989 and later appeared in 1999, followed by another retro release in 2012. The shoes debuted in the classic 1989 Spike Lee film, “Do the Right Thing”. Dressed in a simple color scheme of White, Black and Cement Grey. The shoe was highlighted by its Cement Grey detailing, but most importantly the branding on the back heel, which the 2016 version will bring back the classic ‘Nike Air’ branding that’s also seen on the insole and outsole. They will release during the NBA All-Star Weekend in Toronto, on February 13th, 2016 at select Jordan Brand retailers. The retail price tag is set at $220 USD.
