4. Upgrade Me
Reason number four is because I would like to make some money. To be honest, I’m all good with cars. I have a two car garage at my house right now and I can’t even fit any more cars out there. I’ve got three cars at my house and I’m in a car right now. So there you go. Realistically, if I make money off this project, I’m about my kid. My seed. My family. Investment. That’s what I’m into doing with my money. I’m not into jewelery, I’m not into drinking or getting high, none of that. So if I can invest in things, put my money to new ideas and a new project, that’s what I’m going to do.
1. Numba One Fan
Reason one is because I think I’ve always delivered good music. I’ve never disappointed my fans on any project. No solo project of mine has disappointed. So this is basically a Cormega project. I’ve never disappointed my fans, that’s reason number one. I just feel fortunate enough to be one of those artists that stays in tune with what the people want because at the end of the day, if you interviewed a hundred fans that met me personally, I guarantee 99 percent of them would say, “Mega is one of the most down to Earth artists I’ve ever met.” I listen to them. Listening to your fans is like being in a boardroom meeting. The fan is one of the most important people in your life. The most important person in your life, under your god, if you’re an artist is your fan. Not even your family. It’s the fan that’s keeping you able to support your family and keeping you employed. So I always listen to my fans.
2. Pay It Forward
Reason two is because you’re going to download it anyway, so after you download it and you like it, just buy the sh*t. I want you to listen to the album anywhere where you’ll appreciate it. I’ve heard that my music reaches people in different places. There’s people that listen to it in prison. I just want you to enjoy it. And I’m being honest with you. It’s not a brand new album and I’m not trying to blow you away, I won’t lie. A lot of people would tell an artist to go up and say it’s a new product. The first CD is like a “Best Of” and the second CD is me [backed by] a band. Some of it is new but a lot of it is the band versions of stuff.
3. What We Do
Reason three is because this is what we do for a living. When a movie or video game is coming out people buy it so why can’t every artist get that same respect. The feedback we got from the fans made me realize it’s going to be good. Hip-hop needs this right now because it’s making us look good. It’s showing sophistication. It’s not about violence or hurting people.

And reason number five, why you should buy Cormega’s Raw Forever is because it’s a double CD. CD one has a lot of songs that were on earlier works that people liked. Maybe you lost an album or you might not have it. CD two is me working with a band, experimenting with some new things and I think it’s something that deserves to be purchased.
