Dually addressing the continual search for new canvases for expression as well as the reality that hundreds of decommissioned planes sit collecting dust in the Arizona desert, The Boneyard Project is an art exhibition that has evolved since 2010 to incorporate the styles of over 30 international artists. This latest video shows acclaimed artist Kenny Scharf working over a 50-year-old military aircraft in his signature graffiti-esque style, culminating in a vividly colored and visually appealing large-scale piece. Improvising his work on the spot, watch Scharf go through the motions while discussing his fascination with the graveyard for planes as well as his personal relevance to the project.
