Danny Waserstein of Shoe Gallery Discusses the"Flamingoes at War" Reebok Classic Leather

Video dropped 2 months ago but eh, still dope. Check it out.

Closing out the year for collaborations between Reebok and its Certified Network & Affiliates program, we are brought down south to Miami’s Shoe Gallery boutique. As an owner that is more interested in having a good conversation with his customers rather than a sale, Danny Waserstein is well-known in the local community — making Shoe Gallery a staple destination for sneakerheads and celebrities alike. Starting his passion for footwear ever since his grandfather opened the store back in 1979, Waserstein admits that the “at home” environment of Shoe Gallery hasn’t really change from some 30 years ago. With the “Flamingoes at War” a complete suede upper was chosen, with a definite separation between the toe and the back half portions. Born out of the realization that the Shoe Gallery team has never witnessed a flamingo in flight, the toe of the sneaker receives a treatment in pink while the rest of the portions are done in a washed-out camouflage, as to bring balance to the colorway and maintain toughness. Retailing for $130 USD, the Shoe Gallery x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary “Flamingoes at War” sneaker is available November 30 at Shoe Gallery and all other Reebok Certified Network retailers
