Nike Presents a New Retail Experience with NikeLab

Bridging physical space and digital experiences, NikeLab will come to life in select cities and through e-commerce to expand access to Nike’s leading innovations.A new consumer destination, NikeLab comes to life in both physical spaces and through e-commerce. Transfroming the retail landscape, Nike Lab will expand access to Nike’s leadig innovations

“The idea was to move away from the archaic ways of retail in terms of materials and the way things are put together,” says Nike retail designer Tim Rupp, “and the Lab was a great way to start that journey.” The space features modular fixtures made out of recycled e-waste and other materials that Nike and Arthur Huang of Miniwiz invented in the process of designing the stores. They also recycled materials from the old spaces (including the bleachers from 21 Mercer) into design elements of the new stores. Everything was designed to serve the needs of the consumer and to provide “maximum performance and aesthetics with low environmental impact.”
