Nike LeBron 9 P.S Elite – South Beach – New Images

While we’re still about two months away from their official release, the “South Beach” Nike LeBron 9 Elite has already become one of those most coveted signature Lebron styles of 2012.

Similar to the 2010 release of the “South Beach” LeBron 8 that sent everyone into a frenzy, the LeBron 9 P.S Elite features a grey-based color scheme with hits of aqua and pink flash accenting throughout. Wolf grey works most of the hyperfuse upper on this elite version of the LeBron 9, while new green and mint candy accents take care of the Swoosh, midsole, laces, 180 heel Air bag and parts of the outsole. Pink flash completes the art deco inspiration, taking care of the liner, midfoot harness and parts of the heel-tab Lebron branding.

The ‘South Beach” Nike LeBron 9 P.S Elite is scheduled to release June 2nd at select Nike basketball retailers nationwide with a retail price of $250.

Nike Air Penny 5 ‘Orlando’ New Images

Although Penny Hardaway finished his NBA career a few years ago, it isn’t stopping Nike from creating a 5th signature shoe. We all know that in the Jordan series, the last shoe that was worn by Michael Jordan was the 18 but till this day, Jordan Brand continues to put out more numbered series sneakers. Perhaps Nike’s goal is to do the same with Penny Hardaway, who happens to be the only former NBA player with more than 3 shoes (aside from the goat). Here’s a look at the Nike Air Penny 5 “Orlando” in full detail, that displays a few recognizable aspects which are found on the Penny 1-4.

The shoe features a leather upper trimmed in suede and fully dipped in Fresh Mint. These sneakers are set to hit stores very soon and could be at some retailers as early as today.
