Who remembers this supposed trio? Well the good people at 2Dopeboyz.com put together a little compilation of what could’ve been.
There was a time when I thought that Jay-Z, X and Ja Rule coming together to formMurder Inc. was one of the best things to happen for NYC Hip-Hop since 2-for-1 $.50 loosies. But, as Lauryn Hill once said, Seasons change, mad things re-arrange. Obviously, that “season” was in 1999, and the re-arrangement? Egos, competition and timing.
