Cannabis Cup first time in The U.S

High Times is having they’re first High Times Cannabis Cup in the United states April 20th-21st in Denver, Colorado. For those of you who are not familiar with the Cannabis Cup it is a completion too see who has the best Marijuana in the land.

The Cannabis Cup was always held in The Netherlands in the city of Amsterdam for the past 25 years. In the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup the coffe shops that are notoriously know by the world as a place to recreationally use Marijuana also the seed companies that produce the seeds for some of the best Cannabis in the world compete for the Tittle and respect of being the  Cannabis Cup winne. In the U.S. High Times Cannabis cup local growers and dispensaries from Denver Colorado compete for that same Tittle and the same respect. With a few out of town contenders from other states it should be a hell of a competition.The U.S. High Times Cannabis Cup allows anyone over the age of 21 from any of the Fifty States to compete in the cup presenting flowers and/or Hash. The U.S. High Times Cannabis Cup was made possible do to the Legalization of Marijuana in Colorado. Allowing the use of Marijuana for recreational purposes,making it legal to poses up to a ounce of marijuana which is a felony in most states.The law prohibits smoking in public smoking,smoking while driving which is a D.U.I and under age use of Marijuana.The age limit is the same as Alcohol 21 years of age to recreationally use Marijuana,But it is still illegal to sell most people consider this ridiculous.” So i can have it” but i cant smoke it ? Yea sounds crazy most people are just happy they can smoke without having to worry about going to jail.

Can I smoke at the event?
Yes! There will be an outdoor medicating area for Colorado residents who are also Colorado medical marijuana patients and there will also be a separate outdoor smoking area for all adults, regardless of residency, ages 21+, in accordance with Colorado’s new law legalizing marijuana.

What’s the deal with buying weed?
While possession of up to an ounce of marijuana is now legal in Colorado for adults ages 21 and up, it is still illegal to purchase marijuana.  For more information,click here

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You must be at least 18 years of age to attend and 21 to drink and smoke recreationally. All attendees and vendors will need identification as it will be checked at the door.

7 p.m. – Cannabis Cup Awards Show begins
