Today we are giving you a look at one of the biggest sneakers to make it back onto Nike’s roster the Air Python which was released along with the Jordan 2 back in 86′. The Air Python has never been retro’d since its original release in 86′. And with the multitude of classic basketball silhouettes that have made their way back into the sneaker world it was only right for Nike to retro the Air Python. These have been scheduled to release in Europe on the 21st, there’s no US release yet, but since they drop this month in Europe it shouldn’t be to long till they hit the states. This is truly a great design. Especially when you think of the time period 1986, an important time for Nike and Jordan as this was the beginning of what the sneaker game is today. The Air Python is a true classic a two toned sneaker gray uppers contrasted by black snake-skin. This was the standard for Basketball sneakers at the time luckily the same people that created these changed the game.
