Nike is bringing in the Chinese New Year with a special Dunk High dubbed the “Red Packet” representing the Chinese tradition of giving and receiving the “Red Packet” that represents lucky and prosperity on the form of a monetary gift. This sneaker was designed with the tradition and its meaning in mind sporting a lux red build with suede uppers and leather accents on the heel and swooshes. The sneakers gold upper was accented using gold seen in the lining, swoosh outline and the outsole that was hit with a light gold speckle decorating the translucent reish out-sole. Along with the sneakers gold accents the shoes were given a gold coin finishing the Chinese New years inspired sneakers the right way.
